Do you want clear healthy skin? Then you’ll love this green juice.
Not only healthy skin but healthy hair and stronger immunity. It’s what I like to call “Sarah’s Healthy Green Juice.” It is full of fruits and vegetables that provide an instant shot of goodness to your whole body for a prettier you – inside and out.
STORYTIME. (Disclaimer: if you don’t like stories, just skip right to the recipe. I won’t be offended.)
Back to my story, I kept reading about green juices so one day headed to the grocery store to collect “green” fruits & vegetables to try it out. As I carefully looked over the parsley selection a cute older woman asked me what I was making. I told her a green juice and she asked me what I was going to put in it. As I started to list off the items she stopped me, took out a small notebook and pencil, and wrote down the ingredients. She then asked me my name and wrote “Sarah’s Health Green Juice” at the top – and that is how it got its name!
STORYTIME OVER. Let’s get to the drink.
(This post probably contains affiliate links. Read my full disclosure here.)
SARAH’S HEALTHY GREEN JUICE
1 cup filtered water or coconut water
a handful chopped romaine
1 handful of baby spinach
a handful of parsley
1 mini cucumber
a green apple
1 banana
Juice of 1/2 lime or lemon
NOTE: You can easily change up this drink to make it your own. For instance, leafy greens like romaine, kale, and spinach have many of the same vitamins and minerals you can use any combo of them.
Also, other additions include lemon, pineapple, kiwi, celery, cucumber, cilantro, watercress, kale, coconut water, etc.
Making the Green Juice!

If I don’t happen to have parsley on hand right now it doesn’t matter I can still make this drink? Have you ever added celery?
Yes I have and it is delicious! Anything green that you can make a juice from works great, and no the parsley isn’t necessary, but a nice addition if you have it.
and they say that drinking water helps too 🙂
Haha it absolutely does! I like green juices because they add extra benefits too but nothing can compare to water.
Sounds yummy! Im always down for a good smoothie! Thanks for sharing!
