When I think of Mother’s Day I think of flowers, pink and generally pretty things. For those with the same mindset, I put together a list of five Mother’s Day gifts all having to do with peonies. Because not only will your mom like these gifts if she loves flowers, but there is a little something for every type of mom. Enjoy!

5 Peony-Inspired Mother’s Day Gifts
1.) A Candle
For the mom that loves home & garden items – pick up a Peony candle Peony candle for her and fill her home with the pretty scent. It’s also the perfect candle for the spring. This is one of my favorite scents. However, as I become more aware of chemicals in beauty and home products I have slowly been learning about why candles may actually be bad for our health. I don’t want to stir up fears so if you love a candle then enjoy it! But if you too are trying to be more conscious about what we bring into our homes I’d suggest looking for soy-based candles that use essential oils of natural ingredients to scent their candles. Plenty of companies out there now do!
2.) Soaps and Lotions
Once a year Mrs. Meyers comes out with peony scented soaps and cleaners. You better get them quick though because they go out of stock quickly. Snatch up some hand soap, lotion, or cleaner when you can and your mom is sure to be pleased by this popular scent. Going back to my little talk about being conscious, I’ve always felt good about using Mrs. Meyers. Plus, they smell AMAZING. In full disclosure, the lilac smells even better than the peony but shhh…don’t tell the peonies.
3.) Drinking Tumbler
Maybe your mom is more on-the-go. Then pick up a peony tumbler from Tervis. I fell in love with Tervis after I bought my first yellow floral cup. They hold a lot of fluid, hold hot or cold water, and can be put into the microwave and dishwasher. Plus, look at how pretty this cup is, right? Put a pink lid on it and your mom will feel very special. (I bought this for my mom last year!)
4.) Makeup
For the moms who love their makeup, pick up any of a Han Pink Peony cheek and lip tint. Not only is the color gorgeous, but it is made with natural and non-toxic ingredients and cruelty-free. Plus – it does double duty! I’m going to go stock up on some myself right now.

5.) DIY a GORGEOUS Peony wreath
My friend Jennifer taught a group of women from church how to make DIY coffee filter flowers. After a few false starts, everyone was able to get the hang of it pretty quickly. The best part is every flower looks different but equally beautiful. You can make wreaths out of them, gift toppers, or any number of things!

6.) Lotion Bars
These are by far one of my most popular DIYs from my blog: DIY Lotion Bars. They are made with just three ingredients, take a couple of minutes to make, and you can make them into any shape you want. As you might have guessed, yes, you can even make a peony-shaped lotion bar.
